Videresender fra Content-lista. Vi oppdaget samme problem med tilgangslenkene da vi testa portfolier i ProQuest Central-pakken vår og fikk «The requested publication was not found»

Hi all

Thank you for alerting us to this problem

We used the fix suggested in the thread – thanks!  We have removed the client ID and that seems to have worked for us.  Will wait on outcome of the cases for a better fix

Thanks very much

Juliet

Yes we have also noticed the problem here and it seems to be affecting all our proquest resources in alma apart from our individually purchased ebooks from ebook central.

I have also logged a case 07248185.

Thanks for alerting me to the more widespread issue

We're also having these problems - we only have ProQuest Religion. It doesn't seem to be impacting the Ebook Central collection?

Have reported to Ex Libris (case 07248985) and ProQuest (case 07248984)

Cheers,

Katherine

Hi all,

We also see the same issue at our end and I will log a ticket as well.

And I also tested, the access issue seems is fixed by removing the client ID from the E Collection service level.

Regards,

Kira

We found the same thing this morning here. I found that removing the client ID helps, however this is not best practice, so Ex Libris transferred our ticket to ProQuest support.

This message originated from outside of the Illinois State University email system. Learn why this is important

We noticed the issue yesterday afternoon and opened a case with Ex Libris Support.  They have brought in ProQuest to the case.

This was their reply:

“Thank you for contacting Ex Libris Support. I reviewed the links to Proquest and replicated the problem. Other customers have reported this same issue, and it is currently under investigation by the Proquest team.

I am sending this case over to Proquest for further information.”

Subject: [Content-L] ProQuest links not connecting

[Caution - External Sender]

Hello colleagues,

Today we noticed that links from ProQuest databases which go through the link resolver (both for CZ portfolios and CDI records in Primo) are not connecting and are displaying errors. This does not seem to be happening for CDI records in "link in record" collections.

We have submitted a support case but are wondering if anyone knows of a workaround since this is affecting a significant number of records.

Kind regards,

Laurel - on behalf of the UNR Libraries' Discovery Team
