Hi, we are going to deploy a fix for the new user interface next week. This update will resolve an issue which makes it hard to switch accounts if the user tries to log into a service they do not have access to with their current account. [Feide Updates] New Feide user interface on idp-test.feide.no

Hi, we have recently deployed a new version of Feide to our test system. The changes from the previous version is mainly adjustments to the user interface. We are planning to run it on our test system for several weeks while we make fixes and adjustments to it, and then deploy it to our production system later this summer. If you have any CI/CD pipelines which depend on our test system for automated tests, you may need to tweak the tests to work with the new user interface. There are a couple of known issues with the new user interface: * We don't have translations in place for many of the texts, so they are shown in English. These will be replaced with proper translations when they are ready. * "Broken image" is displayed for organizations that do not have a logo. These will be replaced with a placeholder image. [Feide Updates] Feide https certificate change Thursday 19 July 2018

Hi, our current https certificate for idp.feide.no expires 14 December 2018. To avoid replacing it during exams, we are replacing it early. We are going to deploy the new certificate to the production servers Thursday 19 July 2018 at 13:00. The new certificate is issued from the same root CA and is using the same intermediate certificate as the current certificate, so any client supporting the current certificate should also accept the new. Hi, we are going to deploy an update to the Feide login service this Wednesday (June 27 2018). The two main changes in this update is: * Add support for the Feide 2.0 LDAP schema. * Add support for logging in using email addresses. Hi, Next Wednesday, 14th of February, we will be deploying a minor update to our Feide production infrastructure, addressing several cosmetic issues in the new user interface, as well as enhancing compatibility with Internet Explorer (old versions and newer versions in compatibility mode). Most of these issues were detected following the last update, and have been fixed and tested since then. The code has already been running on our test infrastructure for almost two weeks. Hi, Next Wednesday, 17th of January, we will be deploying a new release of Feide to our production infrastructure, around 13:00 (CET). This is a major update changing Feide's user interface, featuring better accessibility and a responsive design that works much better in mobile devices than before. As a result, some URLs are also changing and might need to be updated if bookmarked. Additionally, automated monitoring tools may break with the new release as the structure of the HTML will change. This new version of Feide has been available for a while in our test infrastructure, and can be viewed by accessing any test service, as for example: https://sp-test.feide.no/ Even though we have tested extensively this new release before rolling it out, it’s almost impossible to cover every web browser on every different platform. Hi, Next Tuesday 31st of November, at 13:00, we will be deploying a new release of Feide to our production infrastructure. This update is currently deployed in the test IdP without any noticeable problems. The new release also passed all our new automated tests that check for the most common flows in Feide. The main reason for this update is patching a security issue that was discovered recently.
