Hi,
this change was performed today, but took a bit longer than anticipated. This was due to a configuration issue on the new load balancers that took some time to diagnose. Due to this, the test system was down from 14:02 to 14:45.
(The configuration was tested beforehand, but only from machines on the same subnet as the load balancer. It turned out that a default setting on the new load balancer servers caused packets from outside of the local network to be dropped.)
We will now run the test system on the new load balancers for a while. if things are stable, we expect to move the production system to the new load balancers in a few weeks.

Hi,
we will make a new attempt at moving our test system to the new load balancers at 14:00 Monday 9 March.
As with the last attempt, this move requires a modification to the load balancer configuration which also hosts our production system, but we do not expect this to affect our production system in any way. Our test system may be available for a short while when the transition is made.

Hi,
the load balancer change for our test system was attempted today, but unfortunately the new load balancer (which was supposed to take over the address of idp-test.feide.no) did not work correctly. After 30-40 minutes of troubleshooting it was decided to roll back the change.
The production system was unaffected by this change.
We will come back with a date and time for a new attempt at changing the load balancer for our test system later.

Hi,
as part of the process of replacing our current load balancer hardware, we will move our test system to new load balancers Tuesday 24 February at 14:00.
Moving the test system to the new load balancers requires a configuration change on our existing load balancers, which is also hosting our production system. However, we do not expect the removal of the test system from the load balancers to have any effect on the production system.
Once we have run our test system on the new load balancers for a while, we will transition the production system to the new load balancers as well. We will send a separate notification about that change when we decide on a time for moving the production system.
