Hi everyone,
our mailing lists aren't too high-traffic, so I hope it doesn't hurt to spam you with a job ad ;)
Up until now, I've been the only full-time employee working on NAV development at UNINETT. This is finally about to change:
We are now hiring another full-time software engineer to join our NAV development team in Trondheim.
If you are interested, or know of someone who might be, please see the full job ad here:

Hi everyone, it's time I followed up on this.
Just before easter week, we made our new hire.
Our new developer is no newcomer to NAV; he has been involved with NAV development the past 11 years, contributing just about everything that concerns integration with Cricket, the SNMP trap daemon and Arnold, the port blocking tool. He is also responsible for several heavily-used internal NAV tools at NTNU.
Those of you who have been using NAV for a while will recognize his name, so please give a warm welcome to: John-Magne Bredal :-)
John-Magne will officially start at UNINETT on June 1st, but even before he decided to apply for the position we had an agreement to hire him as an external consultant from NTNU in May, so he will be spending about 50% of his time working on NAV through May while he wraps up his other assignments at NTNU.
