Thank you very much.

Why all this information are not stored into a forum or a document that each one could download ?

That would be so helpful for everybody, no ?

It depends. You need to see when cricket runs (sudo -u navcron crontab -l | grep cric). The default is each 5 minutes, but if your device is very slow to respond snmp requests, this time must be increased.

By default cricket's monitor all interfaces of the the device. So, if the device is slow, the cricket will be slow too.

NAV uses a simple tool called mcc.py (make cricket config) that is called by navcron's crontab (sudo -u navcron crontab -l | grep mcc) to make the config files used by cricket. I've experienced similar problems with cricket...

Please, read the attached mail.

Hi,

After waiting a couple of hours, the graph appeared.

Do you know what process does that and how long it takes for it ?

Thank you.

Cédric.

What is your nav version? It's installed by apt-get?

Check the directory /etc/nav/cricket-config/ports/ if there is a file named with the IP address of the switch. Paste the contents here plz.

Hi,

I have added a new device (switch) in NAV.

Unfortunately, I don’t see any graph corresponding to this device in Cricket module (while I still see the different graphs for other devices that are also switches).

What can I do to get the graphs of this new device ?

I had a look everywhere in NAV, checked the documentation, but I did not see anything about that.

Thank you..

Cédric.
