-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 As previously discussed on nav-users, there seems to have been a problem in our Cheetah version which did not warn us properly of syntax errors in our Cheetah templates. Therefore, Cheetah was upgraded on our development server from version 0.9.15 to 0.9.16a2. Apparently, templates compiled with this version of Cheetah are not backwards-compatible with Cheetah 0.9.15, as we discovered when upgrading NAV on our "test production" server. If your NAV web interface crashes immediately and complains of Cheetah/template problems after upgrading NAV, you should make sure you have at least version 0.9.16a2 of Cheetah installed on your server. - -- Morten Vold NTNU ITEA Integrasjonsgruppen -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCEKQnXxIl0kpcOkQRAsjIAKDS0ULU0cRrZYxtIEEOYg9EViLTkQCgqRQ/ 2oClgJymTGEJnIXmHEE62CI= =EJqC -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

The same thing happens when I access "Routers" etc. Installed the rpm and applied the sql-files.
Is there a "quick-fix" for this? :)
Did you remember to restart Apache and Tomcat? You also need to enter the webapps directory of Tomcat and delete the vPServer and navAdmin directories before starting Tomcat over (to make sure that Tomcat is running the newest version of these NAV components). - -- Morten Vold NTNU ITEA Integrasjonsgruppen -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCEKc0XxIl0kpcOkQRAhNiAKDj7PCdcQLoGP2f31plkkEtk37AfgCfc0lS ND+73RWyxPG4ZYukPy/Wxcs= =xBUV -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

It worked! Here's another tough nut to crack for ya :) When I edit/add an IP device using "Edit database", after supplying ip, cat, community, room and organization, pressing "Continue" or "Update" causes NAV beta 10 to return: Error: psycopg.ProgrammingError: ERROR: permission denied for relation snmpoid select snmpoid from snmpoid where oidkey='typeoid'
