We have a strange problem with external links (e-links) in VlanPlot.
On the Top-level (with or without Containers), no e-links show up.
But if I put a router with an e-link in a Container, the e-link shows up inside the Container, but just inside the Container.
How can I get the e-links to show on the Top-page of VlanPlot?
They showed up after this: http://metanav.ntnu.no/moin.cgi/TrafficMap ----------------------------------------------- Showing external connections ---------------------------- NAV will detect external connections, elinks, i.e. subnets that are on the perimeter of you network, connecting other customers or other ISPs. These prefixes will have the attribute vlan.nettype='elink'. The network map will not show these external connections on the top level by default. You have to do the following: manage=# UPDATE vp_netbox_grp_info SET hideicons='f' WHERE name='_Top' ; Please note that hiding external connections can only be done on the top level. Within a given container there is no way of hiding external connetions. They will always be shown. ----------------------------------------------- But I can't alter the layout. I think it has to do with the web_access privilieges for vlanPlot|navAdmin because I don't have a Move and Save button (any longer..). What are the correct settings for these? -rune
