We have a need to include an Organization column in the Status widget (and Status page). Is this possible?

That is indeed possible. I have personally also wanted to include other filters for status (yes we sometimes use it ourselves). There is however a limit on how many boxes you can have in a form before it starts to physically hurt - thus I'll need to think/will accept suggestions for how to solve it.

I realize that I misread your request.
Having more columns in the widget makes it very crowded. The only way I think we can do that is to make it configurable what columns you show in the widget (and in the status-page). That is absolutely possible.

That would be perfect. We need organization to show, others could need something else.
