I did a fresh install of NAV on a new server running FreeBSD 6.0 (I'm testing a new NAV-port) with postgres version 8.1.2 It's working OK, but I have one issue with editdb. Go to https://<your host>/useradmin/grouplist Select group "Anonymous Users". Remove privilege "web_access for ^/vlanPlot\b" and maybe "web_access for ^/vPServer/servlet/vPServer\b" Remember to add the privilege for groups allowed to see the traffic map :) Gro-Anita

I think we have tried everything except the sacrifice of a virgin goat by midnight. We still have a data collector running with only one thread that crashes too often to be comfortable with. Our main problem with Java is that we have not enough knowledge about the language to be at any help with debugging.
