NAV version 3.9.1 is now available for download at Launchpad: https://launchpad.net/nav/3.9/3.9.1
This release includes the following:
Bugfixes:
These two bugs were actually fixed in 3.9.0, but were omitted from the changelog:
* LP#737102 (Trying to add a prefix that already exists yields an error, but an entry (without the prefix) is added to vlan-table) * LP#771677 (the delete button on seeddb/prefix is missing)
* LP#643469 (Status history link URL is ridiculously long) * LP#643472 (Device history search results lack context) * LP#643544 (Partial fix for: Flexibility when entering ip address in machine tracker) * LP#726545 (SeedDB should verify SNMP write community) * LP#751302 (Change the name for prefix matrix to "Subnet matrix") * LP#754602 (seeddb: improve Move Selected) * LP#790178 (pping can crash if clock is adjusted backwards) * LP#804869 (Interface-URL in 'machinetracker' yields 404) * LP#817201 (network discovery vlan index fault)
Please report bugs at https://launchpad.net/nav/+filebug :-)
A binary package for Debian 5 and 6 (Lenny/Squeeze) will be made available as soon as possible. The Debian package is maintained by Morten Werner Forsbring, on commission From UNINETT.
Happy NAVing everyone

Thank you, Vegard! :-)
I will be starting a 12 week paternity leave today, so until 7th November Vegard will be NAV's release manager.
Since NAV is my day job, you won't be hearing much from me these next few months, but I may still lurk the list from time to time. This isn't a very high-traffic list; I'm sure Vidar, Vegard and the other part-time developers will manage.
While I'm gone, there will likely not be any new feature release, but there will be scheduled maintenance releases on the 3.9 series once a month. I.e., the next release should be expected on 12th September.
Everyone, give a warm welcome to Vegard, and I'll see you again soon!

The 3.9.1 packages are now ready on Alioth [1] as usual. Please report any bugs to this list or directly to me.

Is this package built just for squeeze?
The installation procedure on lenny (apt) says this package has been keept back, demanding apt-get dist-upgrade to complete.

Happened with me using Squeeze. This is because some of the dependencies have changed.
Simply run 'apt-get install nav', and it should ask you to install the extra dependencies, and also upgrade NAV itself.

Thanks a lot, your suggestion worked like a breeze!
