Hi Jakub,

the syslog analyzer tool in NAV is primarily for Cisco-formatted syslog messages. No-one ever got around to making an HP equivalent.

I think the syslog analyzer tool has an uncertain future, as there are much, much better tools available for log analysis these days. We might in fact consider some sort of simple, optional integration with an ELK stack [1], as UNINETT is already providing Log Analysis as a Service (implemented with ELK) to our customers.
