Is it possible to put an interface on maintenance?

One of my users is doing work on a netbox and links are down. He clicks on the link in /status, ends up on /ipdevinfo/<boxname>/interface=nnnnnnn, chicks Recent Alerts and observes an Unresolved linkState event. He then clicks on the Message and endds up in /search/event/nnnn "Event details" Under Available actions he chooses "Put on maintenance".
