On a HP 7500 switch, a combo interface is a logical interface that comprises one SFP fiber port and one RJ-45 copper Ethernet port, which are called combo ports.
Then I would expect the logical interface to have its own entry and name in the interface table, and I would expect the layering of the logical interface on top of the physical ones to be described in the `IF-MIB::ifStackTable`. For NAV, this means the logical interface should be listed separately, and when view its port details in ipdevinfo, there should be a "Layering" table that lists the two physical interfaces on the lower layer. I cannot confirm that this actually works on HP devices, as I don't have access to any that use port combos. -- Sincerely, Morten Brekkevold Sikt – Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research
