Some questions about Edit Database

Hello, we´re actually testing your magnificant nms and we´ve some questions about "Edit Database" a) Is it possible to add/edit the default categories for the ip devices; e.g. "category=gsw" or "category=wlan" b) Is it possible to change the "Function" description of an aviable ip device; e.g. Funcion=Network Thanks in advance and with kind regards from germany!!
