Unfortunately, the Geomap is notorious for problems with displaying updated load data.
I think it partly comes down to the fact that it tries to get data for the last 10 minutes, but since counter values are only collected every 5 minutes, and there is no guarantee that the latest data slot has been filled yet, a query for 10 minutes might give a single counter value. You need at least two data points to calculate a differential. So it might be an idea to have the Geomap default to 15 minute intervals instead.
Do you get load data if you open the "map options" panel and play around with the data interval?
