NAV randomly looses VLAN configuration
Hello out there. I'm quite new to NAV, however we already have it in our production env and it works great! Recently we've fund some strange issue - vlan configuration in seed db just disappears and we have to re-configureit again. Can anyone please give me a direction where to start investigating this issu? Any help will be appreciated!

Hi there, NAV attempts to get some VLAN details from your router port descriptions, according to a couple of supported conventions. You may either be experiencing a conflict with these conventions, or NAV may be changing the details even when it lacks a matched description on your router interfaces (in which case, we should probably fix it). Have you read https://nav.uninett.no/wiki/subnetsandvlans ? Does `ipdevpoll.log` have any specific mentions of router interfaces related to these VLANs? -- mvh Morten Brekkevold UNINETT
