Hi,
I see the locations popping up on GEOMAP, but not the (WAN) links as shown in some example screenshots.
Anyone have a clue why this could be?
Cheers Erik

Has NAV discovered your topology at all? E.g. when viewing your link ports in ipdevinfo, does it have information about neighbors and VLANs?

Yes, but it isn't updating.
Aha, but I was addressing Erik here, and I don't think you answer for him ;-)
Hello Morten,
Yes, it's filling up nicely as far as I can tell.
But the two links THAT show up now, don't make sense (1000Mps link, no loads).
CDP and VLANS are showing.........
Cheers Erik

What doesn't make sense? Is 1000Mbps wrong, or is it just that no loads are shown? If you look at the involved ports in ipdevinfo, does NAV have data in the traffic counter graphs?
Unfortunately, the Geomap is notorious for problems with displaying updated load data.
I think it partly comes down to the fact that it tries to get data for the last 10 minutes, but since counter values are only collected every 5 minutes, and there is no guarantee that the latest data slot has been filled yet, a query for 10 minutes might give a single counter value. You need at least two data points to calculate a differential. So it might be an idea to have the Geomap default to 15 minute intervals instead.
Do you get load data if you open the "map options" panel and play around with the data interval?
Hi,
If I play with the map options, lines and edges are showing green and some load, but the links are still showing 1000Mbps, when it should (I think :-) ) show the WAN capacity (2, 4 155 Mbps)?
Cheers Erik
