NAV with Cisco 3850

Hi, we have a 3850 Stack with 3x ES-C3850-48T-S and 5x WS-C3850-12X48U. When we try to PortAdmin and edit a Port we get (see also attached Jpg): „IP device found but has no type“ Any ideas? netmap and lag

Hi NAV gurus, We have a very limited test envioronment for NAV, our environment are Foundry based (->Brocade-> Arris and Extreme now). We have enabled lldp on edge switches, but not on ALL upstream routers. Even on connections with lldp on, the map does not show LAG ports correctly, it seems. Is there a manual way to fix netmap problem for those it fails to correctly identify the connections? Thank you. I'm left with only two possible options: 1. You are losing UDP packets (as mentioned by the debugging guide) 2. You are in fact experiencing a cache saturation problem with carbon-cache, but it's somehow being masked by its reporting of negative cache numbers. I'd try a newer version of carbon-cache if I were you, to see if that helps. If you are indeed experiencing cache saturation, a non-buggy version might expose it properly and you can take the necessary steps - such as running multiple carbon-caches or storing your Whisper files on an SSD (although I'll add, as I've done before, that we are running carbon-cache 0.9.10 in production, as upgrading to 0.9.12 gave us abysmal performance, with cache saturation on almost every installation - so even downgrading might help). How to add "Getting started" widget

I seem to have removed the "Getting started with NAV" widget from det default user, and now new users miss the opportunity to take the 30 second tour. How do I add this? Hello, we're having problems with gaps in graphs (only for some interfaces) and I'm working through the https://nav.uninett.no/doc/4.8/faq/graph_gaps.html guide. I've arrived at the part with the "Carbon Cache" and I'd like to know whether those two graphs represent a healthy state: http://abload.de/img/e7zassl.png http://abload.de/img/jyz3sjf.png What strikes me as odd is that there are negative numbers, I can't see that on the graph on https://nav.uninett.no/doc/4.8/faq/graph_gaps.html Best regards Karl
