NAV with Cisco 3850

Hi, we have a 3850 Stack with 3x ES-C3850-48T-S and 5x WS-C3850-12X48U. When we try to PortAdmin and edit a Port we get (see also attached Jpg): „IP device found but has no type“ Any ideas? Announcement: NAV 4.9.3 released

The third maintenance release of the 4.9 series of NAV is now out! The source code is available for download at GitHub [1]. New packages for Debian 8/9 (Jessie/Stretch) are available in our APT repository [2] as usual. The Debian packages for NAV 4.9 have been rebuilt using dh-virtualenv, which means that most of the Python dependencies are now embedded into the packages themselves. If you have previously added a priority apt pin for packages from apt.uninett.no, you may now remove it, as there are no longer any other packages needed from that repository to run NAV. Please also be extra aware of config file changes. Look out for `*.dpkg-dist` files in /etc/nav and make sure to update your running config. The virtual appliance currently being updated at the time of this writing, and will be uploaded soon. Fresh Install on Debian -> Graphite Unreachable

Hello, i made a fresh nav installation on a fresh Debian 9 system. I installed the nav package by following the instructions here: https://nav.uninett.no/install-instructions/#debian After that I followed the instructions in /usr/share/doc/nav/README.Debian<https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Uninett/nav-debian/master/README.Debian> I skipped Part1, I did Part 2 to 6 as described. At point 4 Graphite, I followed https://nav.uninett.no/doc/latest/intro/install.html#integrating-graphite-w… I added the storage-*.conf files with symlink as described here: https://nav.uninett.no/doc/latest/howto/installing-graphite-on-debian.html Now I can Login into NAV, but Graphite is unreachable. So I have a few questions: Do i have to uncomment in file /etc/nav/graphite.conf? [carbon] # # NAV supports Carbon's UDP line receiver. Host and port information of # the backend can be configured in this section. # #host = 127.0.0.1 #port = 2003 [graphiteweb] # # Where is the Graphite web interface located. NAV needs this to get graphs # and data from Graphite. # #base=http://localhost:8000/ Do I have to create the graphite database and the apache webinterface by myself? As described here: https://nav.uninett.no/doc/latest/howto/installing-graphite-on-debian.html For me the installation instructions are not really clear and seem uncomplete. Can anyone help me? Multiprocess don't work

Hello, I enabled multiprocessing with the -m option in /etc/nav/init.d/ipdevpoll but that does not seem to work anymore with version 4.9.2 There is only one process that starts. Can anyone help me ? Regards Nicolas

AlterEngine not sending mails anymore

Updated to NAV 4.9.2. Now i noticed the alerts are not sending anymore. Dell N2048P not saving

Hello, When I use portadmin on a Dell N2048P, I change a port description for example and I clic on save. It say ok for change and ok for save very quickly. If I connect on the switch, the change is ok in the running-config, but when I check the startup-config, the change isn't done. I wait a few minutes and still no change. It is working well on Cisco 2960 and 3750 (despite sometimes it's slow if the stack is 8 switch) Can you help me find where is the problem ?
