Status Check on Dell N2048P (PoE)

NAV with Cisco 3850

Hi, we have a 3850 Stack with 3x ES-C3850-48T-S and 5x WS-C3850-12X48U. When we try to PortAdmin and edit a Port we get (see also attached Jpg): „IP device found but has no type“ Any ideas? Dell N2048P not saving

Hello, When I use portadmin on a Dell N2048P, I change a port description for example and I clic on save. It say ok for change and ok for save very quickly. If I connect on the switch, the change is ok in the running-config, but when I check the startup-config, the change isn't done. I wait a few minutes and still no change. It is working well on Cisco 2960 and 3750 (despite sometimes it's slow if the stack is 8 switch) Can you help me find where is the problem ? Announcement: NAV 4.9.0 released - now under GPLv3 license

The initial feature release of the 4.9 series of NAV is now out! The source code is available for download at GitHub [1]. New packages for Debian 8/9 (Jessie/Stretch) are available in our APT repository [2] as usual. The Debian packages have been rebuilt using dh-virtualenv, which means that most of the Python dependencies are now embedded into the packages themselves. If you have previously added a priority apt pin for packages from apt.uninett.no, you may now remove it, as there are no longer any other packages needed from that repository to run NAV. Please also be extra aware of config file changes. Look out for `*.dpkg-dist` files in /etc/nav and make sure to update your running config. The virtual appliance will not be updated until next week. Are Extreme-switches supported in NAV?

Hi, I have installed the latest version of NAV (4.8.6) and have added some of our Extreme switches. SNMPv2-MIB :: sysDescr.0 = STRING: ExtremeXOS (X440-48p-10G) version 16.2.2.4 16.2.2.4-patch1-3 by release-manager on Fri Feb 17 08:00:10 EST 2017 However, I get the following error message in the log file ipdevpoll.log --- 2019-01-24 11: 33: 09,664 [WARNING nav.mibs.entity_mib.entitymib] [statuscheck ex035.inet.hb.se] device response has bad table index .19.48 in ENTITY-MIB :: entPhysicalTable, ignoring --- What does this mean? Catalyst 93XX - cam info missing

We observe a WS-C93XX (Catalyst 93xx Switch Stack from cisco) where for some MAC-addresses information about switch port is missing. All jobs have run recently, no error message about the topo job in ipdevpoll.log. How to remove chassis from netbox

nav 4.8.6 - restore permissions for unauthenticated users group

Hello! Can you help me with restore default permissions for user groups. After I delete all defaults permissions for unauthenticated users group by mistake, I can’t access web interface of my nav 4.8.6 fresh installation. How can I restore default permissions without access to web interface? P.S. Sorry for my English and thanks.
