This may be a stupid question, but I am experiencing a strange
problem
in NAV, where only about a third of the links on our core router
shows
up with any usage, the rest comes up as if there is no traffic there
at
all. One other switch on the network shows usage towards all other switches, but the rest of the switches on our network shows no usage whatsoever. The easiest way to see this, is when I look at the network map, and find most of the links gray, while some are green. This is a fairly new install (only a few days old,) so I may have missed some of the documentation, but I can't seem to find anything on this problem.
The question here is: Is the network map the only place you are looking for data when you say it shows no traffic at all? If you look up the actual router- or switch ports in Cricket, do the traffic graphs appear blank there? The traffic map is known to sometimes have issues with retrieving the correct traffic load numbers.
It seems the problem was also in cricket. I have also had some other issues with this installation, and I am now reinstalling the entire thing. Hopefully, this will help.
