On another note: This only appears on old, old versions of Cheetah. Upgrade
your software! ;-)
We are running py24-cheetah-2.0. I was not able to find a more recent version
(October 12th, 2007)
That's strange:
---
nav-3.3.1/subsystem/webFront/templates% make FrontpageTemplate.py
/usr/bin/cheetah compile FrontpageTemplate.tmpl
Compiling FrontpageTemplate.tmpl -> FrontpageTemplate.py
nav-3.3.1/subsystem/webFront/templates% cheetah -version
2.0rc7
---
Sure you don't have multiple Cheetahs installed? ;-)
I'll soon be off on paternity leave for a couple of weeks, so I'll
have to refer you to Stein Magnus for further discussion of this
problem :-/

Subject: [Nav-users] My continued SMB quest (and lack of python knowledge)
Message-ID:

I know enough perl/php/sh to fumble about once I get a stub program
working, but I cannot for the life of me get a simple python program
that imports the SmbChecker.py module (and its class) which will let me
call it to perform the check.
I don't know squat about python which is making this a bit more complex
than it should be...
Anyone got a simple, takes command args, stub I could snag to import
this module and see what it doesn't like about my samba server?
Once I figure it out there will be a patch or doc or something coming
out of me on what is up....
