I installed RC2 on Fedora Core 4 today, installed perfectly using the RHEL4 guide. However, I have this problem in the getDeviceData.log for each IP Device that it queries :
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: snmp/SNMPException at QueryNetbox.run(QueryNetbox.java:703)
So I'm not collecting any data. Do you think the problem is Java 1.5 ? I have the snmp jar placed in the jre/lib/ext directory. IF Java 1.5 is a known bug then I will downgrade.
Thanks

Hello -
I am trying to get a new installation of NAV (nav-3.0_rc2-1.noarch.rpm) running on my standard installation of SuSE 9.1 SLES. I have followed the regular installation directions.
Upon accessing the NAV webpage, I get this:
*-- Mod_python error: "PythonHeaderParserHandler nav.web"Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/mod_python/apache.py", line 299, in HandlerDispatch result = object(req) File "/usr/local/nav/lib/python/nav/web/__init__.py", line 45, in headerparserhandler import nav.web.auth File "/usr/local/nav/lib/python/nav/web/auth.py", line 34, in ? from nav.db.navprofiles import Account, Accountnavbar, Navbarlink*--
Any idea what my problem might be? The installation looked to go fine to me.
Thank you.
