Basic NetMap Question

Hello,

I have downloaded NAV to test in my company. I have installed the software and configured around 30 production switches and routers to see how the tool works.

Everything is going well except for one point. When I open the Netmap module, I can see a graphic representation of all devices on the page, however the lines connecting the devices are all green even if the device is reporting down. (If I click on it there is a red icon on the top right side of the window).

My question is, what is the criteria to change the graphic representation to red ? E.g. If the device is not reporting SNMP but it is replying ping, should the status be green ?
