NAV 3.4.0 final is now available for download.
I received word from Morten Werner Forsbring yesterday, just before he left for a two week vacation, that a Debian package of NAV 3.4.0 was ready. He asked me to announce it for him.
It seems he didn't have time to move his latest testing version to his etch archive, so the instructions at [1] aren't entirely reliable. I've tested the package an extra time and found it to be ok (my main concern is always with the upgrade routine).
To use apt to retrieve the package, you need to add the following line to your /etc/apt/sources.list (instead of the one mentioned at [1]):
deb http://pkg-nav.alioth.debian.org/debian/ etch-test local
Then run "aptitude update" and "aptitude install nav". The version number on the package is 2+3.4.0-1~0test4. I'm assuming this will change once Werner gets back from vacation and moves the package out ot the etch-test archive and into the regular etch archive.
Instructions are, as usual, available at the pkg-nav Alioth page [1] and wiki page [2].
