Hi,
We are running NAV 5.6.0 (from av Debian package) on a local Debian 11 machine, set up with postgresql and apache2. Initially we had some problem with the error message "Graphite unreachable", but followed the solution suggested by datagutten: https://github.com/Uninett/nav/discussions/2535
Now, a lot looks nice. Graphs display fine, but we have problems with Netmap, which is empty.
For the router e.g. the "Ports" tab is missing info about "To Device" and "To Port". "Port details" do not provide any options for "Two IP device".
Regards, Ole Harald

That sounds great!

Did you read https://nav.readthedocs.io/en/latest/howto/debugging-topology.html ?
Yes, I have read this document.
Unfortunately, it is the case that "Port details" for interconnected ports do not provide any options for "To IP device".
This might indicate that the problem is related to the database and not Netmap?
Sincerely, Ole Harald

I'm not sure what is meant by this.
Do you mean to say that the port details page doesn't show the row for "To IP device" at all, or that the icon (the square with an arrow pointing from its inside to its outside) in that row is missing?
Or do you mean that when clicking the icon, it takes you to an empty report?
Can you share a screenshot?

Never blame Netmap until you can prove that NAV has the correct topology information first :)
Hello again, and sorry for the confusion.
I mean that when clicking the icon (the square with an arrow pointing from its inside to its outside), it takes me to an empty Direct neighborship candidates report.
Sincerely, Ole Harald

Can you confirm that all the collection jobs (in particular, `topo`) are running without error for this device and its neighboring devices? Job statuses are listed in the lower right of the initial Device Info tab for every device you look up in IP Device info.
