I'm running the NAV 3.8.6 and I get inconsistent reporting of IPv6 hosts. Some show up, others do not, even though they appear in the Cisco show ipv6 neighbor results. I don't see this problem with IPv4. Is this a known issue? Workarounds?

We are not familiar with this issue, no.
Does this behaviour appear on more than one router? If only one router, what type of Cisco and what ios version.

Just as Vidar asked, I would like to know if results vary depending on which router the data comes from, or if the problem is limited to a single router with inconsistent results.
Make, model and software version of routers may be helpful as well - Cisco's support for IPv6-related MIBs tends to vary a great deal over these factors, in my experience.
