The first maintenance release of the NAV 3.15 series is now available for download at Launchpad: https://launchpad.net/nav/3.15/3.15.1

This release fixes the following reported bugs:

* LP#1230240 (navsyncdb command is not installed in NAV 3.15.0) * LP#1230299 (Cricket+NAV 3.15.0 may not work under Django 1.4.5) * LP#1235355 (Machine Tracker performs unnecessary join on netbios table) * LP#1235356 (The netbios table needs an index for efficient joins on the arp table) * LP#1236753 (machinetracker netbios search crashes) * LP#1236813 (Alertengine crashes on nav version 3.14) * LP#1239139 (Weathergoose2 GOOSENAME not initialized in snmptrap handler) * LP#1240855 (Mac search + DNS crashes with TypeError in NAV 3.15.0)

It seems we also forgot to mention a new feature when 3.15.0 was announced: The ability to set a room's geolocation coordinate via an interactive map in SeedDB.

Morten Werner Forsbring will be stepping down as maintainer of the Debian package, which is also the reason that no official package has been announced for the 3.15.0 release. For those of you already following Werner's repository at http://pkg-nav.alioth.debian.org, the wheezy-test archive there does contain a 3.15.0 package, built in cooperation between Werner and myself.

As we are using the Debian package in production at UNINETT, we will be maintaining and releasing the Debian package ourselves in the future. More details will be announced shortly.
