In nav2 there where somewhere we could put boxes with slow respons, so you don't get this false alert. Is this possible in nav3?
In nav3 you have multiple options here:
1) You can adjust your alert profile to suppress alarms from the netbox in question. This solves the problem for you, not for everybody. You may alse do this suppression based on severity. We have a default severity scheme in place, depending on the box in question this may help you.
2) You can put set the device on maintenance. Use the messages tool, select the maintenance tab. Select the netbox and attach a message to this. This options stops all monitoring of the device for the time period you specify.
3) You may adjust timers in pping and/or event engine, see pping.conf, eventEngine.conf (maybe Kristian can elaborate here). Please note that these adjustments are on a "global" basis.
