This is also a good idea. Searching for portnames is an often used feature!

Be aware however that NAV is competing with itself in this matter; another tool, Network Exlorer gives you the ability to search for portnames. Maybe this will be of help?

My Network Explorer works fine with all the switches that is in the same vtp-domain as my Cisco 6509(GSW). But I can't browse/search on switches that is in another vtp-domian. And swtiches on our studentshome are in a different vtp-domain. With the Advanced Search in the report it is possible to do this portname-search.
