We have just moved our NAV 4.2-box from test to production and with real use the bugs start popping up.
One user will not see any Events on his status page, even though he has chosen all possible Event types. The user is even "NAV administrator"
How to debug this?
We know there are events to be seen and the handful of other users I have tested as will see events as expected.

See my previous response - this is a known issue that we have fixed, and we will likely release 4.2.1 today: https://launchpad.net/nav/+milestone/4.2.1
