Hi, is there any news about snmp v3 support in NAV? I know it's something that has already been asked, but as far as i can see it isn't supported yet, i'm i wrong?
Best regards, Marco Barbieri,

Hi Marco,
Unfortunately, there has been no movement in this area.
If I may, I would suggest you subscribe to updates to this issue in our tracker: https://github.com/Uninett/nav/issues/1177
(And as I have stated before: I'll happily mentor anyone who wants to work on their own implementation).
Ok, thank you, i'm sorry but i can't help in developing, i could just alfa/beta test whatever gets published, if it will ever.
It's a pity to me, since are already 3 years at least we removed NAV from our set of network diagnostics/inventories due to our full switch to snmpv3.
Regards, Marco Barbieri.

Uninett is merging with Unit and NSD to form the new Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research, and will stop trading under its own name per 1 January 2022.

Understandable. Again, if you'd like, you can subscribe to updates to https://github.com/Uninett/nav/issues/1177 . You would be notified first thing when there is progress.
