Alertprofile not deleted together with account

NAV 4.2.6 Have done some cleaning in NAV's account list. Discovered afterwards that the associated alertprofiles were not deleted and now I have a couple of "ghost"-profiles generating alerts, sending to non-existent mail addresses etc. How can I clean the database? Which tables are involved? Problem to get mac address table from 1920 HP switch

Hello, I have problems to get mac address table from switch HP 1920. I only can get one o two mac addresses. If I launch a snmpwalk command to these switches from CLI, I get the next error: Error: OIDs are not increasing If i execute the snmpwalk command with -Cc, it works fine. How can I configure in NAV the -Cc option? Thanks in advance.

Device hostname instead of DNS

Announcement: NAV 4.3.3 released

Due to a critical bugfix in the NAV service monitor, we are releasing the third maintenance release of the NAV 4.3 series now. We urge anyone using NAV's buil-in service monitor to upgrade as soon as possible. The source code is available for download at Launchpad [1]. New packages for Debian Wheezy and Jessie have been published in our APT repository [2] as usual (and the virtual appliance has been updated). Heads-Up: Cisco bug prevents NAV settings to be written to running-config

Hi, if you upgrade to recent versions on your cisco infrastructure and have a distributed setup of admins using NAV/snmp to tell the device what to do, you will lose all your configuration as soon as your device reboots as the changes you made are not written into the running-config! So heads up and be warned. -m - https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuu48624/ adding port to vlan via SNMP not in running-config on cat4k IOSXE CSCuu48624 Description Symptom: Adding port to a vlan does not update running-configuration with "switchport access vlan X" command, hence after reload port would go back to VLAN 1 (default). Conditions: 03.07.00 or 03.07.01 software version catalyst 3k/4k assign port to a vlan via SNMP (snmpset -v2c -c test 10.106.69.151 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.68.1.2.2.1.2.6 i 255) Workaround: assign port to a VLAN manually through CLI via "switchport access vlan X" command Further Problem Description: When assigning VLAN to the access port on the switch using setSNMP (snmpset -v2c -c test 10.106.69.151 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.68.1.2.2.1.2.6 i 255) port does not get any configuration in show running-config interface output. NAV supporting Cisco Voice VLANs

Hi, we are looking into using NAV with Cisco IP-Phones (8841/8851 series) and while trying the feature we realized the config put on the port doesn¹t use the cisco proprietary settings but sets the port into trunk. What we want to achieve is using an additional voice-vlan on the port like:: Switch(config)#interface range fastethernet 0/1 - 2 Switch(config-if)#switchport mode access Switch(config-if)#Switchport access vlan 50 Switch(config-if)#switchport voice vlan 10 As stated by Morten via IRC this has not been implemented yet also due to the fact that they lack the devices to test on. I wanted to ask if it was possible to implement this so it becomes part of the main NAV tree. We could fund this development and help with the testing. Maybe you could also give an estimate on how much work this would be?
