Does the router log the incorrect communities that were used? It might
be interesting to compare the list of VLANs NAV is querying that the

No, recent versions of NAV will only check the specific VLANs reported
by the device itself through the queries I sent you examples of. If none
are reported, none are queried.

That's weird; the code involved here doesn't distinguish between device
categories, it just checks what VLANs the device reports, if any. Could
you share with us the actual responses given to the snmp queries you
performed (censoring any secrets from the community outputs)?
